From iPhone to iPad.
Today, Apple launched the iPad and around the world Apple’s competitors undoubtedly share a despondent and bitter sigh of defeat and regret. This tablet is set re-define how we consume newspapers, magazines, books, photographs, video and so much more.
Interestingly, where iPhone’s arrival was a revolution, the iPad really is more of an evolution building on the massive learnings in user interface that the iPhone achieved.
The iPad puts massive power at your fingertips with a multi-touch experience that is instantaneous in response. Amazon’s ‘Kindle’ e-reader pales by comparison, as does the Barnes & Noble ‘Nook ‘ and the Berg, which I mentioned in a recent blog.
Factor in the added efficiency and simplicity of managing purchases through iTunes, and it would seem the launch of iPad is clear for take off. You will have to wait 60 days for the on sale date. Who will be surprised when it beats all sales records on that day?
View the short demo film from Apple and you’ll be in awe of what the iPad is capable of.
